Emma Watson is one celebrity that has definitely grown up in the public eye. From her days as a preteen walking the red carpet for Harry Potter premieres to posing coquettishly at Cannes Film Festival, she's never been afraid to try some daring styles. Today we thought we'd take a look back at her red carpet looks over the years and marvel at the transformation of this:
to this: Prabal Gurung/ Bottega Veneta
In 2013, Watson stepped onto the red carpet wearing this gorgeous black Prabal Gurung gown and jaws collectively dropped all around the world. This dress is daring and dramatic without showing too much skin. We also love the asymmetrical t-strap heels and her slicked-back hair. A perfect ten! Alternatively, when Watson donned this deep gold Bottega Veneta dress with a corset-style top and architectural skirt, we marveled at how she looked just like a work of art. By over-accessorizing, she could have completely ruined either of these looks, but Watson always knows the perfect amount of detail to add. Burberry/ Oscar de la Renta
This crisp white gown by Burberry was worn by Watson to the Costume Institute Gala at the Met in 2010, and we love its sweetheart neckline and flattering cut. With glowing skin and smokey eyes, Watson definitely made it to some Best Dressed lists that night! At a Harry Potter premiere, Watson donned this pastel grey Oscar de la Renta gown, and had fans gasping with delight. Its rough cut tulle played off her pixie cut perfectly and had us swooning! Burberry/ Marchesa
Proving that she can rock a mini like no other, Watson wore this structural Burberry mini to London Fashion Week in 2009, and this chartreuse Marchesa mini to the MTV Movie Awards in 2011. Did we cover your favorite Emma Watson looks? Tell us below in the comments!
