Now that Man of Steel
has hit cinemas, Amy Adams
has been traveling the globe to promote it. She's been looking fresh and vintage inspired from New York to Italy, and keeping to a mostly neutral color palate. Let's take a look!
Here she is in London, wearing a dress from Valentino
. I find the bodice a bit odd looking, but the skirt and shoes are perfect, and the headband adds a touch of sweetness.
She's wearing Nina Ricci
here in New York, looking like a femme fatale from a noir film. Again, I find the bodice a bit odd (as the rosettes remind me a bit of eyeballs), and the lace back isn't my favorite detail. Her hair is pretty, but it's a bit boring, and a look we've seen from her before.
In Italy she wore a white strapless dress from Dolce&Gabbana
, which has a more relaxed feel than her other looks. I like the fit and length on her, and the white compliments her coloring, though I'm not wild about the texture of the fabric. And hr hair looks a mess, unfortunately, though the turquoise earrings look nice against her red hair.
Here she is in an Antonio Berardi
dress for the premiere in Jersey. I don't mean to be repetitive, but again, I find the bodice odd. The tiny cut out right below her bust is strange, and it seems like there's a lot more folded bits and seams than it needs. Her hair looks old fashioned (in a bad way), but I do like the oversized earrings.
