There is nothing more beautiful then the colors of Fall! Watching the leaves change is one of my favorite things about this season! Inspired by the colors of the trees, our Friday Favorite is the FALL-ing in Love Scarf that you just can’t help but be smitten with this lovely scarf! Fall Trend Alert: Amethyst Jewel Tones

“Violet! Your turning violet!” Well at least you will be feeling purple when you fall in love with one of my favorite Fall Jewel Tone Trends: Amethyst! A dusty dark purple stone, the February birthstone derives with meanings of power, protection, and healing. And you will certainly draw power from this color every time you wear it! This color of purple looks great on a relaxed over-sized top or even as a gown. Recently, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine wore this gorgeous dark violet Gucci dress with a gold headpiece and gold jewelry. The rich color looks so great on a variety of skin tones and is perfectly fitting for the colder seasons.

Outfit of the Week: Fall Fabulous

Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t mean that your style has to subdue as well! Stay fierce with this week’s Outfit of the Week pulled by myself and promptly named “Fall Fabulous,” and modeled by our model Paige with the brightest smile! One of the biggest trends for this upcoming fall was gem and jewel tones that were seen all over the runway. Colors like burgundy, dark teal, and dark purple reflect the richness of the gem tone trend. When I saw the Flying Monkey Dark Purple Skinny Jean I immediately fell in love with the color and had to use them! We wanted to give Paige a “hard” type of look, stylist Emilee and myself gave her an edge with the Sis Sis Born This Way Tank in Black with its gold beaded detailing around sleeves, Emma Clutch in a dark grey, and the City Classified Gum Girl Sandal in Off White tying in the chain motif among the top and accessories. We also accessorized her with an assortment of gold bangles and jet black sunglasses. Paige’s hard and soft look will have looking great whether wind, rain, or storm! Fall should watch out for her style!

Friday Favorite: Fall Colored Denim

The best part about the fall season is the collection of colors it brings from the changing of the leaves, misty mornings, and spiced treats. For fall fashion, we are all about the colored denim! Purples, oranges, reds, and even a few vibrant pastels; fall colored denim is your staple piece that can fit into any occasion!

Friday Favorite: Crop Tops

How short is too short? Actually not short enough with the newest trend craze that has swept over the fashion world this summer- the crop top! Making a huge comeback since the 1990s, the crop top has been seen on so may runways from Louis Vuitton to Alexander Wang and Prada to Pucci! Certainly taking many different forms, the crop top is super sexy for summer and can be worn so many different ways as seen spotted on celebs like  Rihanna and J.Lo!

If the bustier crop top is too short for you, here are a few options that give you that cropped look but without revealing too much! Try something that is a little longer on the cropped side like the Sis Sis Just Zip It Tank in Sherbert or the Sis Sis Sweet Treat Tank in White. Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2012: Part II

Part II of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week has had me fantasizing about wearing all of these clothes all week! Let’s start with the designer who seriously knows how to design for women, Miss Donatella Versace! Her Fall 2012 Haute Couture Collection brought me to a place by the beach where the weather is warm and the skirts are short! Tropical and neon colors paired well with the motif of soft and hard in Verscae‘s structured coats and drastic flowing dresses! Needless to say, Versace knows exactly the kind of women who want to wear her clothes!

The last collection that was my personal absolute favorite is the Fall 2012 Collection of Jean Paul Gaultier! Two words: 1920s Boudoir! Gaultier has created a fantasy that began with the first piece that came out on the runway! His structured menswear suits had perfect tailoring and slight feminine touches! His transitions went into modern flapper styles with bright colors and differing fabrics and textures that met with creations that would fit perfectly on the red carpet! Luxurious, decadent, and lavish, Jean Paul Gaultier created a very memorable runway show that screamed couture!

That wraps our Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week! I cannot wait until the next one!

Outfit of the Week: Blackberry Basket

Summer is in full swing and so is the summer berry: the blackberry! With those little purple mounds of sweetness, I was inspired to create an outfit title “Blackberry Basket!” The sweetness of the this outfit is perfect ft a summer day stroll, lunch with friends, or a first date out for coffee! You will definitely leave with a sweet tooth for style in this cute ensemble modeled by Sutter!

The first item I pulled for this week’s outfit was the adorable Solemio Lolli-Crop Top in Wisteria! This adorable crop top is so much different then most because it has a relaxed flowing structure and and a tie back that reveals a little skin when the wind catches it! Since its summer and been super hot in parts of the country, I thought the Celebrity Pink Double Dare You Shorts in Black were quite perfect for the summer weather. Basic black shorts have a 2″ inseam and slanted pockets for a preppier look!

To jazz this look up a little bit, I added the City Classified Dydo Wedge in Black because I am in love with linen wedges and the boho feeling it gives this look! I also gave Sutter the Jessie Clutch in Blue because it complimented the top so well!

Watercolor Inspired Outfits

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and I could not help but catch my breath when I came across these amazing watercolors by Italian artist Silvia Pelissero! Her paintings are very moving with a unique story behind each piece. Pelissero utilizes many different types of techniques from oil, watercolor, chalk, and many others to express individual emotions in her colorful faces! Being a huge art enthusiast, I thought it would be fun to create some daring outfits inspired by her amazingly colorful pieces!

Our first outfit is based on this gorgeous blue and pink painting called “Garden in the Ceiling.” To correspond with the colors, we paired the Toska Love Me Top in Pink with the Flying Monkey Color Splash Jeans in Light Teal! The bold colors in this outfit reflect the trendy pastel colored skinny jeans and have a bold colorful statement that you can’t help but admire!

Pelissero’s next painting exudes a romantic nature after being call “Almost Lover,” consisting of colder shades of purple and blue. For this inspired outfit, we paired the romantic Sugar Lips Dressed in Lace Top since it has an interesting asymmetrical hem and delicate lace details. Keeping with the pastel purple hues we added the Planet B Colored Jegging in Lavender which are trendy and sweet all in one!

This last outfit was inspired by the painting named “Opale,” which is very haunting and alluring with the girls green eyes! After I saw this painting I knew the Flying Monkey Jeggings in White add the essences of the white in the girls hair and the Blu Pepper Pistachi-Foam Top in Mint captures the color of her eyes! Such a cute outfit that will have you looking trendy and intriguing to anyone you pass by! Sure to catch his eye!
