Outfit of the Week: Neon + Lace

Even though summer is starting to come to an end, that does not mean the heat is deciding to recede as well! Since it is still hotter temperatures outside, we are celebrating the end of summer with out Summer Shorts and Capris Sale and fitting for this week’s Outfit of the Week featuring crochet shorts and neon green! Our lovely model Paige looks fresh and is glowing in a comfortable breezy outfit that is perfect fora day at the beach, shopping, or a party! Wherever you decide to wear this look, you will sure be as cool as a cucumber, and not just because you are wearing green!

Paige is wearing the Sis Sis All A’ Flutter Top in Green which features an adorable ruffled detail and is sheer allowing some airflow on a a hot day. Paired with the top is the Lucy Paris Lace Shorts which have a cream crochet pattern and are fully lined! If you have been on the hunt for a great pair of lace/crochet shorts, they are right here waiting for you! To accessorize, she is holding the Tara Purse which is super versatile and can go from day to night! Adding a little sparkle, she is also wearing the Sun Star Necklace in Gold along with the City Classified Gum Girl Sandal in White which are so comfortable and very easy to walk in!

Outfit of the Week: Pink Noir

“She walked into my office with fear that read like a old newspaper, already read and cast aside. She wore nothing but dark colors to hide her face and her past. Color she was looking for, but would she be bold enough to face the truth of what it brings? A job that I didn’t reckon’ taking, but the girl needed my help.”

Film Noir is the scene of the fashion crime that took place this week. My task: to pull an Outfit of the Week that was truly bold enough for our stylist Macy to rock! Thanks to our amazing graphic designer, Tyler, we were able to set the scene of a noir-esc theme to this week’s vibrant outfit!

 

Being inspired by the Kardashians and their fabulous style, I paired the Solemio Jack-O Jacket in Neon Passion with the adorably simple Sis Sis Pocket of Sunshine Tank in Sand. With that, I paired the ever popular Flying Monkey Julie Jeans which are Back in Stock for this upcoming Fall season! These super stretchy black skinny jeans are perfect day or night and oh-so comfortable!

To add some sparkle and sass to this outfit, I accessorized with the geometric Pyramid Cross Necklace in Gold along with some gold bangles and her own earrings. For a shoe, I thought none other then the Fortune Dynamic Mealy Peep Toe in Black because they are super comfortable for a heel and you can literally go from work to a date easily!

 

So if you ever find yourself in a dark wardrobe that might as well be covered with soot and ash, remember that the influence of color can change your life forever!

Its almost Mother’s Day and for me this day and Father’s Day are the only days my parents let me buy them presents! This year I’m straying away from my typical Mother’s Day gift of pink roses and a Starbucks gift card for something a little more special! In honor of all of the wonderful women who brought us into this life, I thought I would give all of you some great ideas and tips for gifts for you mom this upcoming Sunday other then my boring gift I have giving my mom year after year. This year she deserves something special!

Mustache Movement

I mustache you a question: have you seen the craze for mustaches? The mustache movement  began as a joke and burst into a trend that has spread over America like wildfire! When I first saw the cartoon curled mustache, it was on the inside of my friend’s index finger; held up to her face, it looked like a mini Mario Brothers impersonation! Since then, I have literally seen mustache’s everywhere: on t-shirts, as pillows, as jewelry, and my favorite on coffee mugs! There is even a IPhone and ITouch app called “Stachematic,” where you can take pictures of yourself and insert a mustache over the picture! The best way to wear a mustache is truly with confidence! Whether it be a mustache necklace, ring, or t-shirt, you must own that mustache with pride and power as it were your own! Give Tom Selleck a run for his comb with your mustache pride! Check out our Pinterest Board with our collection of Mustache memorabilia and get your mustache on!

Hello my fellow fashionistas! Its time for our Outfit of the Week curtsey of one of our stylists miss Sabrina Khanchandani! This week’s outfit can go easily from day to night in a flash! We started with the gorgeous Blu Pepper Puppy Love Top in Blush! This adorable open knit pink sweater has a relaxed fit, scoop neckline, and trendy dolman sleeves. It is slightly cropped and can be worn off the shoulder. The top is pictured with a black tube underneath because it is completely SHEER but very sexy when worn with a tank or bandeau bra underneath!

Paired with our lovely delicate top are the fierce MEK Milo Skinny Rinse Jeans! Dark wash inky blue jeans have a super skinny fit from hip to thigh that promises dangerous curves ahead! Your feminine form will give off a glow in these figure flattering jeans!

Lastly, we accessorized this outfit with the Boy With a Chain Necklace in Gold and the Paprika Grarzon Wedges in Black! Simplistic details make this outfit easy to wear and is effortlessly convertible for a lunch date with your friends to a date night with a new someone! Either way you will look fabulous!

Being green really is that easy! Since St. Patrick’s Day is approaching fast and since I have had my shares of being pinched for not having any green on, I don’t want you to be a victim! Sometimes wearing a bold color like green can be seriously intimidating but its really a great color that can bring out features in your skin, hair, and eyes that you never knew existed! As long as you wear the color with confidence, you will stand out on St. Patty’s Day in a sea of green!
