Colored and Printed Skinny Jeans

With the vast array of skinny jeans on the market these days, you can be sure you’ll be able to find a pair to suit your mood. Feeling confident? Why not bright red. Playful? How about a floral print. Flirty? Perphaps mint or light teal would be just the thing. Celebrities are no stranger to printed and colored skinny jeans, so let’s take a look at some of my favorite celeb looks in skinnies!

Here’s Taylor Swift in a deep red pair, which she paired with ballet flats, a striped shirt, and matching red lipstick. Kate Bosworth is wearing a more subtle pair of skinnies that have a contrasting leopard-esque print, which couldn’t be more perfect for laid back day of shopping.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katy Perry looked lovely in the pair of purple floral print skinny jeans she wore on a recent UNICEF trip to Madagascar.

And now for the regining queen of colored and printed skinnies: Jessica Alba. Girl loves her skinny jeans! Outfit of the Week: Lieutenant General of Fashion

Attention! Fall in ranks with one of my favorite current fashion trends: Military! For this week’s Outfit of the Week I wanted to give our model Angela a strong military inspired look and gave her the character of Lieutenant General of Fashion to get her in the mindset of the woman who loves the military trend! And I must say, she’s looking not only strong but super sexy without showing any skin in this authoritative look!

To give Angela that rank that she deserves in fashion, I used the Sis Sis Stars and Studs Olive Green Jacket as the main rank piece! The gold studs over the collar bone resemble medals and badges earned for perfect style and the cropped open cardigan shape keeps it young and fresh! I wanted to show off her sexy curves with showing tons of skin or taking away from the jacket, so I put her in the M. Rena Diana Cami in Black and the Flying Monkey Julie Jeans in Black show some shape to add some power to her step! The accessories for this look just enforce the military trend especially with the Soda Sam Riding Boot and the flashy studs in the MMS Thunder and Roses Clutch! To finish it all off, we slapped on some cool aviators to show that she’s the boss!

We also kept with the fall stud trend and paired with her the Star Stud-ded Clutch in Red which features gold studded details and a handy strap to help you carry it with ease! Since this is an edgy bad girl look, we put her in the super stretchy Lucky Band Sofia Sofia Skinny Jean and the Vaclar Bootie in Black that gives you serious height! Take a risk with fall and try on this outfit that will give you a serious boost of confidence!

Fall Jewel Tones: Ruby

Look as delicious as Snow White’s apple; all you wan to do is take a bite! One of my favorite  Fall Trends is definitely Jewel Tones and inspired by all of the lovely gem colors I keep seeing around our shop, we will be doing a 4 part blog about the various types of jewel tones you can rock this fall!

Let’s start with a bang with Ruby! Also known as the birthstone for July babies, the ruby is a deep dark  gem that is rich with different shades of red. among seeing ruby all over the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, many celebrities have been dawning the color of ruby associated so easily with this time of year. Stars like Maria Sharapova, Emma Watson, and Kristen Bell have been spotted in Valentino who is notorious for being fond of the color red!

The great thing about wearing ruby red items is that it is a statement color that literally looks good on everyone! It can be dressed up or down for almost any occasion and will send the message of your confidence. Outfit of the Week: Fall Fabulous

Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t mean that your style has to subdue as well! Stay fierce with this week’s Outfit of the Week pulled by myself and promptly named “Fall Fabulous,” and modeled by our model Paige with the brightest smile! One of the biggest trends for this upcoming fall was gem and jewel tones that were seen all over the runway. Colors like burgundy, dark teal, and dark purple reflect the richness of the gem tone trend. When I saw the Flying Monkey Dark Purple Skinny Jean I immediately fell in love with the color and had to use them! We wanted to give Paige a “hard” type of look, stylist Emilee and myself gave her an edge with the Sis Sis Born This Way Tank in Black with its gold beaded detailing around sleeves, Emma Clutch in a dark grey, and the City Classified Gum Girl Sandal in Off White tying in the chain motif among the top and accessories. We also accessorized her with an assortment of gold bangles and jet black sunglasses. Paige’s hard and soft look will have looking great whether wind, rain, or storm! Fall should watch out for her style!

Friday Favorite: Fall Colored Denim

The best part about the fall season is the collection of colors it brings from the changing of the leaves, misty mornings, and spiced treats. For fall fashion, we are all about the colored denim! Purples, oranges, reds, and even a few vibrant pastels; fall colored denim is your staple piece that can fit into any occasion!

Some of the more classic fall colors are the Flying Monkey Dark Purple Skinny Jean, the Flying Monkey Rust Skinny Jean, and one of our most popular items, the Flying Monkey Color Splash Jean in Cherry!
